Enduro Committee Meeting Minutes

August 23, 2008

Lochloosa, Fla. — BSTR Enduro #1

Meeting Called to Order @ 5:48PM

New Business:

Introduced Richard Ralston as new C Rider Representative to the Enduro Committee. We now have all Rider Rep positions filled.

Sumter Enduro Riders did not request an Enduro Sanction date at our Sanctioning meeting held in May. They have requested a sanction for January 25, 2009. This date conflicts with a Hare Scramble already on the FTR schedule. Discussion was held on this topic.

1. Motion was presented by George Tolson to pursue this schedule change with FTR for the 2008-09 Season. Motion seconded by Allen Pearce.

Motion Failed – Unanimous

Rider Ranking / Class Change was presented by Cary Hunt to the Committee. Due to Cary’s change in Specialty Class, his Class ranking changed to B.

2. Motion presented by George Tolson to allow Cary Hunt to ride Master C vs. Master B for the 2008-09 Season. Motion seconded by Buddy Gaillard.

Motion Failed – 11 to 1.

Cary can ride Master B or other class within his 2007-08 ranking number.

Open discussion was held on implementing a new Enduro scoring system for 2008-09 season. Several good options were presented and will be worked on by the Committee for future vote.

Motion to Adjourn meeting by Allen Pearce. Motion seconded by Richard Ralston.
